Letter: Donald Trump, people's president

Published:

To the Editor:

Donald Trump is the people’s president. Trump is like a bull in the establishment china shop that we need to drain the swamp and clean the pig sty. He is taking on the liberal elite and speaking up for the working class people.

He is doing what he said he would, which is what his voters want.

The swamp creatures are fighting back and the pigs are squealing. Trump was never called a racist until he ran for president.

Jesse Jackson gave him an award for his help for black people. Trump did more for the economic welfare of African-Americans in one year than Obama did in eight years. When liberals can’t argue with facts or say anything intelligent, they call their opponents racists, haters, or some kind of phobic.

Sen. Dick Durbin attended a White House conference on immigration and claimed Trump referred to countries like Haiti as “sh–hole countries.”

Trump and several attendees said that wording was not used.

Sen. David Perdue said Durbin is lying and has a history of it.

Durbin, in a 2013 White House meeting, claimed a GOP leader told President Obama, “I can’t even stand to look at you.”

Speaker Boehner and the White House denied it happened.

The liberal biased media jumped all over Trump, calling him racist and unfit to serve. The media did not show similar outrage when former President Obama referred to war-torn Libya as a “sh–show” during an Atlantic interview published in April 2016.

Trump cares about the people in these poverty-ridden countries and even helped out in Haiti. The people of Haiti are mad that the charity money collected by the Clintons for Haiti did not get to Haiti.

Where is the media outrage about that?
