JOLIET – A Joliet woman was arrested after she allegedly became aggressive and pushed the manager of Splish Splash Laundromat, police said.

About 2 p.m. Friday, Patricia Bridges, 31, a guest at the MorningStar Mission shelter, was at Splish Splash Laundromat and was reportedly asked to leave by a 42-year-old female manager, Joliet Deputy Police Chief Ed Gregory said.

Bridges, who apparently was at the 112 E. Jackson St. laundromat but was without any laundry, allegedly became aggressive with the manager and shoved her twice, Gregory said. Officers arrived and arrested Bridges when they found her still at the laundromat, he said.

Bridges was charged with battery and criminal trespass to property. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in court on March 12.

On Feb. 2, Bridges was booked into the Will County jail on charges of obstruction of justice, criminal trespass to land and resisting a police officer. She posted bail the next day.

The Joliet police also took Bridges into custody when she was arrested on Feb. 2, according to county jail records.
