Joliet Catholic school offering tuition transfer

Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry's education committee awarded 43 $1,000 scholarships to students in fourth through eighth grade. St. Mary Nativity students Mathew Brozovich and Rachel Murr each received a scholarship.

St. Mary Nativity School in Joliet is offering a $1,500 tuition transfer grant to any student who transfers into St. Mary Nativity for grades first through seventh grade from any private, public, charter or home school. This two-year grant will be applied to offset the current school tuition.

According to its website, the school adheres to the State of Illinois and the Joliet Diocesan guidelines regarding the subjects taught and time allotments for each subject.
