The University of St. Francis’ student-run radio station will host its fifth annual Mega Music Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 19.

The sale will take place at USF’s St. Clare Campus in Guardian Angel/Assembly Hall, located at 1550 Plainfield Road in Joliet.

The items available for sale will include donated LPs, CDs, cassettes, sheet music, music books, musical instruments, stereo equipment and other music-related items.

For months, students have been organizing and cataloging items for the sale. Admission to the event during its scheduled time is free of charge. Early-bird admission at 8 a.m. is $10.

Prices for items begin at 25 cents. All proceeds will be used to upgrade the nonprofit radio station’s facilities and equipment.

WCSF-FM 88.7 will continue to accept donations of music-related items for sale until Oct. 9. All donations are tax-deductible. Contact the WCSF staff at 815-740-3697 to arrange a pickup or drop off.

The station plays a mix of new, alternative, independent and local music programming throughout the year.
