Audiophil's Records, along with the Joliet City Center Partnership, is offering a new outside, just-in-time-for-Halloween event called "Panic at the Plaza, which will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26 on Van Buren St. in Joliet.
Tiffany Johnson, who co-owns Audiophil's with her husband Phil Johnson, loves Halloween and thought Joliet needed an outdoor spooky event for the 21 and up crowd.
"It's just fun," Johnson said of the idea. "It will give the adults a chance to dress up."
Features of the night include vendors "with spooky things" for sale and live entertainment by The Secret Lives, Warden, The Aquaholics and Black Road.
Chicago Street Pub will have beer and other alcoholic drinks for sale, Johnson said, and she's working on lining up two food trucks.
The event is free to attend. For more information, call Audiophil's at 815-319-2143.
I plan to attend, wearing one of the costumes I had put together for VampCon Chicago.
